Technology Consultant Dir

David A. Lubbers has lived in Houston, Texas since 1975 and is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. He has a degree in Business Administration with a major in Computer Science. Directly out of college, David obtained employment with Telecheck Inc., a national check guarantee service. His responsibilities included board level integration and troubleshooting of systems including digitized speech peripherals, telephone line interfaces, multiplexers, and synchronous / asynchronous communications processors. After being promoted to System Manager at Telecheck, David became responsible for capacity planning, acquisition of hardware, software, and support services. This encompassed 150 computers serving a terabyte of data, to a network of workstations and several thousand point of sale devices, on a real-time, retail, transaction system. After 8 years of studying the information technology business, David decided to venture out on his own.

David has been involved in numerous information technology projects as a consultant since 1994. These projects include applications for the financial, gas pipeline, medical, and call center industries. David’s responsibilities from 1994 to present include software developer, team lead, and chief architect in all aspects of planning and implementation of information technology. He has also spent time in the trenches as a software developer implementing the business processes in software languages such as JAVA and C#. David has developed the skills necessary to organize teams of individuals focused on receiving buy in, obtaining requirements, implementing a solution, and finally, testing the results for a successful project . As chief architect, David has implemented solutions to run mission critical applications around the world.
