Paul Cesak was raised in Houston, Texas and attended the University of Houston where he earned a B.S. in Business and Commerce with a specialty in Refinery Design. Paul saw the future of computers in Refinery Design Applications and went to work for Digital Equipment just before the CAD/CAM boom exploded. He soon began working with SCADA applications and became a specialty OEM Sales Engineer in that field. Prior to EMT, Inc., Paul began working in the medical arena and so by default, became proficient in hospital applications working with many major medical facilities in Houston.. Paul has held Sales and Sales Management positions with Digital Equipment, Pioneer Standard, Wyle Electronics, Design Power, and now EMT Inc..
Paul has a strong desire to understand all types of technology. His favorite project was building an interface between a Pentium PC and a Model Railroad. This project was sanctioned by Digital Equipment and was used as a training tool to demonstrate Process Control and SCADA principles. The original prototype was shown at several major computer shows including a Worldwide Utility conference.
